Dondi Eagles flies the extra mile!

My flat was a beautifully furnished in the city centre round the back of the Mercury Hotel. Whenever we had a problem we could contact Dondi directly and it was solved without any hesitation. We also received our full deposit back without question as well. I had to get removal people to pack up my belongings because I live overseas, even though this was after my contract she helped out without taking anything from the deposit. Would highly recommend anyone to rent any of Dondi’s properties!!

Where can I sign up for my Dondi care package!?

Dondi Eagle is the best landlord I have had in Cardiff. Flats in Howard gardens and Howard terrace owned by this lady are stunning. Had a couple of issues that were fixed/ resolved quickly. She was easy to get in touch with and even sent me a well-being package during the lockdown. Have recommended this landlord and flat to many friends.

Don’t want to leave! Thank you Dondi!

Dondi Eagles – Amended

We previously posted that Dondi Eagle was sending in fake reviews however since that post we’ve been in touch with a few of their tenants and become aware that is not the case. Because of that we have removed the post but would like to apologise for this mix-up. We shall be posting the positive reviews in the next few days.

Yazi doesn’t use protection! (the deposit kind that is)

We had the unfortunate pleasure of renting with Yazi Kayhanian, the house had recently been refurbished so we were pretty happy with the find. However this man is a nightmare to deal with, he doesn’t provide you with deposit protection details (probably because he doesn’t protect them) and is elusive when you need to contact him for any repairs and especially so at the end of the tenancy. Having now googled him I think we got off lightly, we got a partial refund of our deposit but that was after months of chasing him around the city.

Rent: £350
Deposit Returned?: Partially

Rob is trying to steal a Piazza our heart!

Rob Piazza is one of the kindest, sweetest people In Cardiff, no doubt! Super friendly, feels like more of an uncle than a landlord! You can text him anytime, if anything broke in the house it was replaced pretty much the same week with no resistance. The properties themselves were really well looked after and he has some fab maintenance men who can come fix things. Rob is super accommodating, If you can’t pay your rent on the 1st day of the month, you can ask him to delay cashing the cheque and give a date you’re able to pay (He actually understands the difficulties in student finance and debt.)

Top notch bloke, pity I only found him in my 4th year!

Rent: £310
Deposit Returned: Yes

I think Yazi confused students for sardines. He packs them in the same way.

Review for Yazdan (Yazi) Kayhanian Just google him and you’ll quickly get a feel for his unsavoury character and ineptness.  These flats have failed so many basic requirements and have an extremely shoddy finish (I doubt the electrician was qualified). Yazi is the definition of a cowboy landlord. Highly doubt the flats meet fire safety requirements – evident from the ridiculously thin walls. Yet to receive our deposit back on this ludicrously overpriced hell hole. There was also a worryingly overcrowded property within this complex.

Cheeky feature in Landlord Zone

uni rate your landlord cardiff wales letting home the tab news newspaper

Landlord Zone may be throwing some shade in our direction but we’re flourishing anyway. 🌿

In their cheeky little article, they mention other failed rating websites and wonder if we will get any reviews. We’re not sure they’ve really been on our site since we’ve had a bunch of fantastic submissions! While we’re not usually ones to read pro-landlord newspapers this certainly gave us a laugh!
